What to do in Oaxaca, Mexico

• Chill at the Zócalo para el desayuno on a patio and take in the sites (I had huevos rancheros mexicana  y jugo verde)
• Return to the Zócalo in the evening and you're bound to take in a whole new set of same sites (I stumbled on a Pride parade one evening)
• Glean the gold-plated ceilings at the Church Santo Domingo de Guzmán (where we witnessed a fashion shoot & shot one of the models thereafter)
• Visit Monte Albán and absorb the scenery (we also played several games of hide-and-seek with the youngin in tote)
• Look along the streets for the resistance and take lots of pictures
• Sample una empanada de camarone y taco de pulpo at Humera
• Get tat tat tatted up....if you're into that kinda thang I'd recommend Yon at JT Custom Tattoos  @jt_tattoo_oaxaca (tell him Nikki from Oakland sent cha :)
• Stroll through all the markets you can find and drop pesos for some souvenirs (if you can, find DJ Tortilla for some Basquiat-esque paintings to bring home)
